Sergeant Anesi Maverick Tuufuli, a single father, was severely wounded while serving in Iraq.

Tuufuli stepped on a remote-detonated IED during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2005.

He sustained several injuries, including the loss of his left leg and damage to his right.

After returning home, Tuufuli transitioned to civilian life with his wife and two young daughters.

Due to his injuries, Tuufuli currently spends around 50% of his day in a wheelchair.

Why shouldnt they [veterans] have everything that they need after what theyve done for this country?
