It’s as much a tradition as butter on a biscuit.

Serving biscuits, and all of their proper accouterments, at meals beyond breakfast is one such example.

However, it wasnt complete without something sweet.

At my grandmothers, it was usually her homemademayhawjelly or pepper jelly made from her garden.

My mother favored a fresh strawberry jam.
