“As a little girl, I didnt dream about my wedding day…

I dreamed about this right here.

I dreamed about what song I would play in the circle if I got the opportunity.

Lainey Wilson is having quite the year.

She won Best Country Album at the Grammys in February.

Clearly taken by surprise, Wilson responded to the surprise by first acknowledging her familys role in her success.

I knew I wanted to play there.

I wanted to do it.

On June 7, that childhood dream became a reality.

You know what it means to love country music.

You love the Grand Ole Opry and thats really what its all about.

Becoming a member of the Grand Ole Opryis not just another award.

Its a lifetime commitment to being a steward of country music.

Its a responsibility that clearly Yearwood feels Wilson is ready for and her husband agreed.

Its just really rare that you find somebody at your age that already gets it.

Theres going to be highs.

Theres going to be lows.

The awards they give you now and you continue to receive will fade in time.

The one thing that will continue is this family right here.

It feels like the stamp of approval from everybody that stood right here.

That just lights another fire under my butt.

As a little girl, I didnt dream about my wedding day.

I didnt dream about what song Id play at my wedding, I dreamed about this right here.

I dreamed about what song I would play in the circle if I got the opportunity.
