Ingredients for Tomato-Mozzarella Salad
This simple tomato salad comes together quickly and is best served still warm.
Just add buttered bread.
If served as an appetizer, spoon it over buttery crostini.

This way, the dressing will coat all the tomatoes and cheese.
In the fridge, stored in an airtight container, leftover tomato-mozzarella salad will last up to 3 days.
It may get a bit watery, so it’s best to eat it sooner.

Add bacon; cook, stirring occasionally, until crisp, about 7 minutes.
Reserve bacon and drippings separately.
Whisk in chopped basil.
