Family is close to the heart in East Tennessee.
And her best friend of 60-plus years, Judy Ogle, is known as Granny Ogle.
And at both restaurants, you try Granny Ogles Pinto Beansa hearty side slow-cooked with ham.

Pink lemonade is the signature drink of DreamMore, and its not just any pink lemonade.
Its Dollys Pink Lemonade.
And it is sweet!

And its one of his, too.
Hes incredibly proud of the variation Dollywood takes on this Southern classic over at Front Porch Cafe.
My favorite item is the fried green tomatoes, said Chef Poorman.
Theres fried green tomatoes.
There’s fried mozzarella.
Theres tomato and balsamic.
Its just a ton of flavor.
And its just a fantastic thing to eat.

This house-made version is always served in a Mason jar and topped with chantilly cream.
And sorry if youre on Team Hot, but Dolly banana pudding is Team Cold.
The chilled glass jars keep the pudding perfectly cold even in the summer.
She likes to get ribs to go when shes here, said McCormack.
If shes headed back home, many times shell ask for some ribs.
And one is a riff on the two colors most associated with Dolly: pink and purple.
If youve never had Dollywood homemade kettle corn, its a whole scene.
Chef Poorman said hes incredibly proud of the custom-flavored kettle corn thats specific to the new area.
“Its just so colorful with big cherry and grape flavors, he said.
“Its a great balance of color and flavor.”
There are Dippin Dots everywhere in the park, and this new flavor is all about Dolly herself.
“Were doing a play on Dollys Pink Lemonade,” said Chef Poorman.
Its called Soft Melodies, and its exclusively in The Dolly Parton Experience area.
The new flavor is a mixture of lemonade Dippin Dots and proprietary pink-flavored Dippin Dots.
Its light and refreshing and a lot of fun, Chef Poorman added.
Yes, funnel cake.
