Apple Cider Cocktail:

Ice

6Tbsp.

)apple cider

1/4cup(2 oz.

)orange liqueur(such as Cointreau)

1 1/2Tbsp.

)freshly-squeezed lemon juice(from 1 large lemon)

1/4cup(2 oz.

Bring to a boil over medium-high, stirring until sugar dissolves.

Remove from heat and set aside until fully cool, about 1 hour.

Strain simple syrup into a bottle or jar, cover, and refrigerate until ready to use.

Prepare the Apple Cider Cocktail:

Fill a Collins glass halfway with ice and set aside.

Add ingredients to cocktail shaker:

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

Shake:

Close shaker and shake vigorously 30 seconds or until very chilled.

Strain:

Strain cocktail into prepared glass.
