If all you know of strawberry lemonade is powdered lemonade mixes, prepare yourself for a wildly different experience.

The mixed lemonade will also last up to 5 days in the fridge.

Continue to gently boil over medium, stirring occasionally, until strawberries are very soft, about 10 minutes.

Remove from heat and let cool 10 minutes.

Finish lemonade:

Stir in lemon juice and remaining 2 1/2 cups water.
