“You dont want them touching the floor for obvious reasons.
We always suggest a quarter inch of clearance between the hem and the floor.
That said, curtains that just kiss the floor add a sense of elegance to any room.

Bloch-Neal encourages people to think of curtains like they would a frame.
“You wouldnt want a picture frame to stop halfway down the artwork,” the designer says.
