Set a wire rack inside a large rimmed baking sheet.

Pound using a meat mallet to about 1/2-inch thickness.
Dry chicken:
Place chicken on a paper towel-lined baking sheet and pat dry; set aside.
Lift using kitchen tongs, letting excess egg mixture drip off.

Place in cracker mixture, flipping and gently pressing to evenly coat chicken on all sides.
Drizzle chicken with butter:
Transfer chicken to prepared wire rack about 1 inch apart.
Drizzle top of chicken evenly with melted butter (about 1 tablespoon each).
