Unlike canned pickles, refrigerator pickles are not processed through a water bath canner.
They are not meant for long-term storage.

Remove from heat, and stir in cold water.
Cover cucumbers with brine:
Pour brine evenly into jars, discarding any leftover liquid.
Chill pickles:
Seal lids.
