)Honey-Ginger syrup
1 1/2Tbsp.
)fresh lemon juice
1/2Tbsp.
Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, then remove from heat.

Let cool to room temperature, about 2 hours, or for extra ginger flavor, refrigerate overnight.
Strain, then transfer to a jar and store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
Add ice to glass:
Fill a rocks glass halfway with ice.

Add ingredients to shaker:
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
Add blended Scotch, Honey-Ginger Syrup, and lemon juice to shaker.
Shake cocktail:
Close shaker and shake vigorously 30 seconds or until very chilled.

Strain and top with Scotch and ginger garnish:
Strain cocktail into prepared glass.
Top with single malt Scotch.
Garnish, if desired, with a lemon twist or piece of candied ginger.
