Are you surprised by the winner?
After tasting all of the ketchups, they were then tasked with choosing their overall favorite.
One tester who said they don’t particularly care for ketchup even gave Heinz their seal of approval.

Some noted that it was too sweet while others were just not impressed with the flavor.
A smidge sweet but is the traditional flavor and it works, shared one tester.
While some testers thought it was too bland, some liked that it wasn’t overly flavored.

“I can actually taste the tomato, which I enjoy,” said one editor.
Many testers noted that it was very well balanced.
“It’s a good balance of sweetness and zestiness,” wrote one taster.
Almost every tester noted how flavorful and tangy it was, with many choosing it as the favorite.
“This is not my normal ketchup, but I kind of love it,” shared one editor.
And one tester was even able to pinpoint what brand it was.
“It’s gotta be Whataburger,” they said.
“I enjoyed this one on its own as well as on fries,” said one tester.
Tasters noted that it had more flavor than others in the test and won them over because of that.
“It would be good with anything.”
