“People legitimately need the services right now.
But when have they ever seen the words blizzard warning on the local news?
Well, there is a first time for everything it seems.

In fact that was the regions first ever blizzard warning on record.
And they werent joking.
FromTexasto Florida and up through Georgia and the Carolinas, snow totals ranged between 6 inches and 13 inches.
One of those neighbors, Steven Hazell decided to take action.
He hopped in his snow plow and drove 13 hours straight to the Crescent City.
The cities and towns are equipped to deal with the weather and so life carries on.
Still, what he encountered upon arrival surprised him.
“Its crazy the fact that everything down here is shut down, its pretty wild, Hazell said.
But that was precisely why he came down to help.
He told WWL, “I guess out of the goodness of my heart.”
Although he did add that he was hoping he might make a little money as well.
We think chipping in for the gas fare to get him home is the least we could do!
Clearly his primary focus was helping those in the most peril in storms like this.
“People legitimately need the services right now.
There [are] probably people without heat, I mean its dangerous, its legitimately dangerous.”
Thank you, Steven!
