At that point, the one-and-a-half-year-old cat jumped from the camper to the roof of the house.

With a heavy heart, I stopped and prayed for Blancos safety and recovery.
Despite what they saw, the family never gave up hope that Blanco somehow managed to survive.
But as time ticked by, it began looking less and less likely that they would be reunited.
