But Grimes hasn’t let the weight of the show’s impending conclusion stop him from pursuing his passions.
He took advantage ofYellowstones prolonged hiatus to recordhis debut country album.
Grimes toldPeoplethat the parallels between his self-titled album (available now) andYellowstonearent a coincidence.
He admits to being heavily influenced by all those years spent filming the Paramount hit.
“Through these characters, I get to explore parts of life that I wouldn’t before.
Clearly inYellowstone, exploring this western lifestyle that I had never lived before.
I was never a cowboy.
I’d never ridden horses.
I’d never lived in the West.
Now I live in Montana,” he said.
So I think they’re related in a pretty strong way."
The release date for the final part of season five ofYellowstonehas not yet been announced.
