But perhaps no fast-food item has given fans more of the love-and-loss experience than the legendary KFC potato wedges.
It led to all sorts of social media petitions and campaigns, to no avail.
It seems, that is, until now.

So, why did KFC decide to bring back the wedges in Tampa, specifically?
But things look very hopeful.
“They are one of KFCs most requested menu items.
Fans have been demanding andpetitioningfor them to return for five years,” said the spokesperson.
