Personally Im very, very grateful to be a part of a show that has such a dedicated fanbase.
And despite all of that, some shows are still managing to grab us for appointment viewing.
One such show has done it now for eleven seasons and will soon begin production on season twelve.

Now a teenager, Allie is asking tougher questions and actively seeking the answers.
McGarry watched in awe on set as the young actress took on this heavy storyline.
She was just so, so good.
And so prepared and so in the moment.
It was really kind of moving to just watch her perform it and it was really special.
And she was given this responsibility of telling this really deep story and she just took it really seriously.
As you could tell.
Kayla (McGarrys co-star and real life fiance) and I were just in tears watching it.
She was so good, she was so there.
Personally I was very proud of her.
As to what McGarry thinks is the magic formula for this series longevity?
He hands the credit to the fans.
Im just so grateful to be a part of a show thats been on the air for so long.
And that this show has this really organic thing that just evolves with all the changes.
Some actors leave and some actors come on and the show has evolved around that.
They still sit down and they tweet with us on Sundays.
Its kind of like a ritual.
They spend one hour with the cast.
And theres this fictional town where things get tough but it all works out and everybody loves each other.
Yeah, its just kinda been a formula thats been a winner for 12 seasons and hopefully more.
We hope so too!
