What makes the Disney Treasure so spectacular?
I’m glad you asked.

Disney has made a big bet on cruising.

In 2022, the first of three Triton-class ships,Disney Wish, set sail.
That brings Disney’s total fleet to six operating ships, with a seventh hitting the waters next year.
But they’re not done.

So off I went, with my four-year-old niece, brother, and sister-in-law in tow.
Stepping into the Grand Hall, the attention to detail was immediately clear.

The magic had only just started.

And the best part to me, a weary editor nearing the end of a very busy year?
The environment on this cruise ship was exciting and vibrant, but decidedly more relaxed.
Staterooms
The Disney Treasure has 1,256 staterooms across 14 floors.

During our sailing, we stayed in a Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah.
The other two spots came from a convertible sofa and a bed that pulled down from the wall.
Disney has also thought about families traveling together and separated their bathroom into two areas.

This made getting four people dressed and ready much easier.
It sleeps eight people and has four bedrooms and 4.5 baths.
Two additional suites are available on Decks 12 and 13.

These rooms continue the “Aladdin” theme, with the Rajah and Bagheera royal suites.
A few floors away, the Periscope Pub is another new lounge for theTreasure.

The brand-new bar is themed to “The Aristocats,” the 1970 Walt Disney animated film.
Everything from the drinks to the music couldn’t be more purr-fect.
World of Marvel is a superhero-themed dining experience.

These two are not new toDisney Treasure.
(For the seven-day itineraries, guests will cycle through these three restaurants twice.)
In addition to these three restaurants, theTreasurealso has two adults-only restaurants, Enchante and Palo Steakhouse.

We did not get to enjoy either of these during our time on board.
In addition to a scoop, you might get baked goods like carrot cake and cupcakes.
This “Broadway-caliber” show is only available on theTreasure, and it alone is worth booking a voyage.
I wish it had been available for a second night so I could see it twice.
It is a very special show.
Don’t miss it.
But I’d argue that’s a win for parents and adults with kids, too.
(Clubs are available for children as young as six months and another space for weens and teens.)
It was truly a win-win for everyone!
Thanks for thinking of her.
