What Is Parsley?
It is a common ingredient indinner casseroles, sauces, pasta, and salads.
It is also frequently used as a garnish.
It tastes bright, fresh, and mild and sometimes lends peppery or bitter flavor to dishes.
Look for a bright green color and fresh aroma.
Choose a bunch that looks clean and fresh.
Avoid poorly colored, moldy, and dirty bundles and those with mushy, dried, or damaged leaves.
First, remove any wilted or mushy pieces, then trim the ends.
Like other fruits and vegetables,parsley should be washedprior to using and not when you get it home.
Only wash parsley right before using to prevent mold.
How To Store Parsley
Parsley can be stored in the refrigerator or on the counter.

Can You Freeze Parsley?
Parsley can be stored in the freezer in ice cube trays with a small bit of water or oil.
Chop the parsley, add it to ice cube trays, and cover with a little water or oil.

To use, just add a cube to the pan.
Ideally you chop the parsley before freezing so it is ready to use.
