Window screens accumulate dust over time just like every other surface in your home.

The proper cleaning technique depends on the pop in of window screens you have installed.

Step 1:Remove the screens from the windows carefully so as not to bend them.

This is best done outside with a garden hose or in a shower or tub.

If using a nozzle or shower head, check that to use a gentle setting.

Step 5:Let the screens air dry completely before putting them back in the windows.

Step 4:Rinse the screens of any soapy residue using clean water.

This is best done outside with a garden hose or in a shower or tub.

If using a nozzle or shower head, confirm to use a gentle setting.

Although we mention only soap and water, you may choose to use vinegar or other cleaning products.

Not unless you like the look of bent screens on your windows.

Allow the screens to air dry completely before reinstalling.
