If you notice spills, go ahead and give those a quick wipe with a damp washcloth immediately.
Considerations Before Getting Started
Consider what your cabinets are made of before settling on a cleaning solution.
Forpainted wood, use a gentle touchnothing abrasive and no harsh chemicals, which could remove the paint.

Laminate cabinets are easily scratched and should also be cleaned gently.
Avoid excess moisture and dry these afterward, as laminate tends to swell.
Finally, don’t be tempted by Magic Erasers.
Although this product is great at whitening, it is abrasive and can damage coatings.
Also, use your range hood while cooking to remove evaporating grease and immediately clean up splatters and spills.
Cabinets may also appear yellow from grease stains.
