But it’s easy to overlook the kitchen cabinets whenever you clean up after dinner.

In most cases, all you need toclean cabinetsis a soft microfiber cloth dipped in warm, soapy water.
Squeeze out any excess water, as cabinets and moisture don’t mix.
Then wipe with a dry cloth.

Wipe shelves with a damp cloth.
A little soapy water can help remove grease and dirt, as well as fingerprints from knobs and pulls.
Dry everything with a microfiber cloth before refilling cabinets and drawers.
This is especially true with painted or laminate cabinets.
This method is safest on laminate cabinets or those with a factory finish rather than hand-painted or stained cabinets.
Wipe away after a minute or two to avoid damaging the finish.
It’s always a good idea to test cleaners in a spot that’s not visible beforehand.
To remove stubborn stains, apply a baking soda paste for a few minutes and then gently wipe away.
