Once cut out, you’ll dip the tops of the fudgy footballs into the melted chocolate mixture.

Ingredients
1(4-oz.)

salted butter, softened
4large eggs
1cup(about 4 1/4 oz.)
Set aside to cool slightly, about 10 minutes.
Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating just until blended after each addition.

Add melted chocolate and beat until blended.
Add flour and beat at low speed just until blended.
Scrape down sides and bottom of bowl and stir in vanilla and 1 cup of the chocolate chips.

Add batter to pan and bake:
Spread batter into prepared baking pan.
Cool completely on a wire rack, about 2 hours.
Cut out footballs:
Remove brownies from pan using parchment paper overhang as a handle.

Cut out football shapes using a 3-inch oval cookie cutter.
Dip tops of brownie footballs into melted chocolate mixture, allowing excess chocolate to drip off brownie.
Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet; chill footballs 30 minutes.
