Soy sauce is a fermented product made of soybeans, wheat, salt, and water.
The high salt content makes soy sauceshelf-stable, as do the preservatives that some brands add.
We don’t recommend stretching the limits of this beyond reason, though.
How Long Does Soy Sauce Last?
Practically speaking, soy sauce does expire once it loses its delicate flavor and aroma.
