She was immediately drawn to this funky old place beneath live oaks on James Island.
“I thought, ‘I’ve never seen anything like this anywhere.’
“I knew I could decorate it and make it our own space.

“I’ve been collecting antiques since I can remember,” says Taylor, who filled the wall of shelves in the living area (at left) with treasures.
