It was January 2023, and wed been in the house for two to three years.
I was like, I cant say we just moved in anymore; Ive got to finish this!
Those have only just become a pair, notes Lisa.

The one I did have was the first piece of custom upholstery that I ever bought.
I wanted it to be comfortablenot too fancy or fussy but layered and youthful, says Lisa.
The house has a really good flow, and I didnt want this room to feel like the outlier.

You walk through it all day every day.
Thegalley-style spacemakes the most of its limited square footage, relying on the peninsula for storage and bar seating.
