Pour mixture through a large colander, or remove crawfish and vegetables from water, using a slotted spoon.

We recommend a 14- to 16-gallon stockpot for 15 pounds of crawfish.

If you only have a smaller pot, divide the recipe and cook in batches.

Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before cooking, then drain any excess water before adding to the boil.
