How to Remove Avocado Pits for Chunky Guacamole

It’s a real and common injury people get by using unsafe knife movements toremove the avocado pit.
Twist to separate the two halves, open them up, and use a spoon to dislodge the pit.
Cover with plastic wrap, pushing the plastic directly onto the top surface.

When ready to serve, you might pour off the top insulation layer.
This should preserve your guac for up to two days.
Ingredients
3medium ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
14cup finely chopped grape tomatoes
2Tbsp.
finely chopped red onion
2Tbsp.
chopped fresh cilantro
1Tbsp.
fresh lime juice
12tsp.
Stir in tomatoes, onion, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and garlic, if desired.
