What Are Chicken Fries?
Chicken fries are a jot down of finger food typically offered at fast-food restaurants.
To refresh the crispy texture of the fries, reheat in a preheated 350F oven or air fryer.

Heat until crisped and hot throughout.
Set aside until ready to use.
Pulse until cornflakes are broken up into small pieces and beginning to form fine crumbs, about 20 pulses.

Transfer to a medium-size shallow bowl.
In a third shallow bowl, whisk together flour and remaining 1 teaspoon salt.
Heat oil:
Add oil to a depth of 2 inches in a large Dutch oven.

Heat oil over medium until temperature reaches 350F.
Line a baking sheet with a wire rack, and line rack with paper towels; set aside.
Dip chicken in egg mixture, letting excess drip off.

Dredge in cornflake mixture until evenly coated, pressing as needed to adhere.
Place prepared chicken on a clean baking sheet.
Using tongs, transfer chicken to prepared rack.

To freeze chicken fries, fry and cool to room temperature.
Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before reheating.
