Cook onion and fennel:
Heat butter in a large skillet over medium-high until melted and bubbly.

Remove from heat, and let cool slightly, about 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, preheat oven to 325F.
Stir in eggs until incorporated.

Fold in cooked noodles.
Remove foil, and bake until light golden and set in the middle, 22 to 30 minutes.
Transfer to a wire rack, and let cool at least 15 minutes or up to 3 hours.
