So plan for 1 1/2 sliders per person when making your menu.

They’re no where near as messy as regular burgers.
Here are a few of our favorites:
Ingredients
2lb.80/20ground beef
2tsp.kosher salt
1large(12 oz.
)yellow onion, thinly sliced (about 3 cups)
1/4cuptap water
1(15-oz.)

Use a slotted spoon to transfer beef to a bowl.
Reserve 2 tablespoons drippings in skillet; drain and discard any excess drippings.
Cook onions:
Reduce heat to medium; add onion and water to drippings in skillet.

Cover skillet, and cook, undisturbed, until water evaporates, about 10 minutes.
Broil buns:
Meanwhile, preheat oven to broil with rack about 6 inches from heat source.
Slice buns in half horizontally (dont separate into individual buns).

Arrange both top and bottom halves of buns, cut sides up, on a large baking sheet.
Broil buns until lightly toasted, about 2 minutes.
Remove buns from oven, and preheat oven to 375F with rack in center position.

Spread mayonnaise mixture evenly on both cut sides of toasted buns.
Assemble sliders:
Spoon browned ground beef evenly over bottom buns.
Cover evenly with cheese slices.
Spread onions evenly across cheese, and place 2 pickles on each bun.
Place top buns over onions and pickles.
Remove from oven, and cut in between each slider to release cleanly.
