“Too much fertilizer in the potting soil can burn those new roots coming out, she says.

“Do not be afraid to prune, Koraytem says.

The other thing is, the more you deadhead, the more blooms you’re going to get.

Koraytem explains that each time you deadhead, that’s an opportunity to shape the plant.
