The downside of mushrooms, however, is just how quickly they can go bad.
The short answer is yes, it’s possible for you to freeze mushrooms.

How Long Do Mushrooms Last?
(They’ll last a little longer if you cook them or leave them whole.)
However, once frozen, mushrooms can last around 10 months to a year in the freezer.

But you must freeze your mushrooms soon after you purchase them.
Should You Freeze Mushrooms?
Freezing mushrooms is an easy way to always have mushrooms ready for your favorite recipes.

However, if not frozen properly, mushrooms can lose much of their taste and texture in the freezer.
There are several ways you’re free to do this, including sauteing and steam-blanching the mushrooms.
But while blanching most veggies involves dunking them in boiling water, this method utilizes steam.
you could let them defrost overnight in a bowl in the refrigerator.
They make great additions to recipes as they add lots of flavor.
