A brigadeiro was born.

They were on every table at every party or holiday.

The brigadeiro is one of the easiest chocolate desserts to make.

It takes constant stirring and mixing fairly fast so it does not stick or burn on the bottom.

Once it all comes together nice and thick, you must continue working quickly to roll them.

So, get your hands ready for a bit of heat.

Ingredients

2(14-oz.

Bring to a boil over medium heat.

Once boiling, add chocolate and cocoa powder.

Whisk until chocolate melts and the cocoa powder dissolves.

Reduce heat to low.

Whisk constantly for about 8 to 10 minutes.

The consistency should be like a dense fudge.

Remove from heat, and scoop fudge into a flat glass dish.

Once the dough is chilled, youre ready to roll.

Scoop the fudge with a teaspoon and roll in your hand into a 3/4-inch to 1-inch ball.

Roll balls in sprinkles until fully coated.

Transfer to an airtight container, and refrigerate until ready to serve.
