The two healthy cubs, a male and female, weighed 870 grams and 750 grams, respectively.

Two of the Black Bear cubs were relatively healthy; the third was underweight and had severe leg injuries.

Both were healthy and active aside from minor skin lesions and mild cases of ringworm.

The two healthy cubs have gained weight rapidly, putting on more than 100g each in one week.

If no foster mother is found, the center said they will continue to care for the bears.

The Department of Wildlife Resources is looking for a suitable wild foster mother.
