A very welcome sign of hope as the region continues to recover following Hurricane Helene.

Some very welcome news came Saturday morning: Biltmore Estate will reopen on November 2.

Biltmore suffered significant wind damage and flooding in the forested areas of the huge property.

Nearby, Biltmore Village had it even worse.

Many of the homes and businesses there were completely engulfed in flood waters.

The compassion and resolve of our region have been rising every day from beneath the weight of this storm.

Thanks to the incredible work of so many generous people, recovery is happening all around us.

They also note how critical welcoming guests back to Biltmore is for supporting the community overall.
