Forapple pie, it’s possible for you to slice or cube apples in preparation of the filling.
If you have leftovers, you might store it for several days in the fridge.
Transfer it to an air-tight container, or cover it tightly with plastic wrap for storage.

Ingredients
Crust:
3cups(about 12 3/4 oz.
)all-purpose flour, plus more for work surface
1Tbsp.granulated sugar
2tsp.kosher salt
1 1/4cups(10 oz.
)all-purpose flour
3/4cup packedlight brown sugar
1/2cupchopped walnuts
1tsp.ground cinnamon
1/4tsp.kosher salt
3/4cup(6 oz.

Add butter, and pulse until butter pieces are pea-sized, about 8 pulses.
Use edges of the plastic to bring dough together into a rectangular shape.
Wrap tightly in plastic wrap.

Chill until firm, at least 1 hour or up to 2 days.
Add butter, and using your fingertips, work butter into flour mixture until it forms a crumbly dough.
Cover and chill until cold, at least 30 minutes or up to 3 days.

Roll Crust out on a lightly floured work surface into an 18- x 13-inch rectangle, about 14-inch thick.
Fold overhang under itself, and crimp edges decoratively, as desired.
Chill, uncovered, while preparing the Filling.

Add apples, and stir until well coated.
Prepare pie:
Spread Filling in an even layer over chilled Crust.
Sprinkle Crumble Topping evenly over Filling.
Transfer to a wire rack, and let cool to room temperature, about 2 hours.
Serve with ice cream.
