If that series for you isGilmore Girls, we have some good news for you.

No, its not another reboot or continuation of the series.

But it is a brief return to Stars Hollow for a few of the characters we all love.

Lorelai enters, and demands coffee in her usual sing-song manner as Luke hands her the gift from Walmart.

It’s about trying to make other people happy.

Thats the overall goal in even making a commercial.

We just want to give back.

I checked it all with Amy, the creator of the show.

I would be like, they want us to do this.

Do you think its okay?

I wanted to ensure she felt like it was right, Graham said.

Patterson said of the unwavering support, Yeah.

Its the ultimate escapist viewing.

I mean if you think about it.

Lorelai is escaping a, maybe abusive is too strong a word.

So thats a very powerful hook right there.

When she has to go back.

Its just very powerful storytelling underneath all of this fantastic humor and love and kindness and all of that.

I think thats why.

I think it pulls people in who arent maybe the demographic.

Just a couple of years ago I moved and my dad gave me a painting.

And he was like its time for you to have it.

I want you to have it for your house now.

That was just really thoughtful, Graham told us.

And I would shoot my sisters with missiles and giggle, Patterson said with a laugh.

Graham added that she finds the most joy during the holiday season in giving gifts.

I think its most fun giving to kids this time of year.

And thinking about what theyll get so excited about.

Just throwing that out into the universe.
