“That soft, yellowish layer of grease + dust = a neglected hood vent,” says Armstrong.
Theres an easy way to clean it that doesnt consume too much time.
“Mix some dish soap with warm water, grab a sponge, and scrub it down.
Wipe off the remainder with a paper towel,” says Armstrong.
Its easy to clean, though, and we like easy.
Its just that simple and that fast.
Check your trash cans indoors and outdoorsto see if they need a scrub down.
Thankfully, they are typically easy to clean.
Take a damp cloth and wipe down any arms, chains, or brackets on the fixture.
Move the couch and clean underneath it and behind it.
Additionally, solicit help from the washing machine if you’re free to.
“If you have washable covers, unzip those and toss them in the wash,” says Armstrong.
Garage
Thegaragecan quickly become the dumping ground to prevent items from entering the home.
“If spring had a smell, it would be grass clippings and baseball cleats,” says Armstrong.
“Bonus tip: Use a leaf blower instead of sweeping and call it innovation,” says Armstrong.
