How Long Does Cilantro Last?

If kept damp in a glass of water, it can last about a week in the fridge.

If wrapped in a dry paper towel, cilantro will stay fresh up to two weeks in the fridge.

In the freezer, cilantro can for about six months.

This is one of the easiest and long-lasting methods.

Here are two methods for freezing cilantro.

Wrap the cilantro in dry paper towels, and place in a plastic freezer bag.

when you land a nice, thick puree, pour your cilantro mixture into a clean ice cube tray.

Defrost them as needed.

You will get greener cilantro this way, but it does require a little more effort.
