Cohoon advises looking at the specificdetergent recommendationsfor your washer and the punch in of load you’re running.
Some items should notgo into the dryer, including cotton items that have not been preshrunk.
Heat can damage and weaken the fabric, causing clothing to look worn faster.
And the longer you go between washes, the less wear and tear there is on the item.
